Red Bell Pepper Chutney with Ragi Idli. Red Capsicum Chutney Recipe is a lip smacking chutney that is packed with flavors from the roasted bell pepper and baby onions. The addition of the tadka with the crunchy urad dal makes this chutney. Red bell peppers are nothing but ripened green bell pepper.
Instructions to make Bell Pepper Chutney:
- Wash bell pepper and tomato. Apply oil and roast them.
- Remove from gas, and keep into cold water. Peel them and roughly chopped 5hem
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds.
- As seeds start crackling, add garlic and curry leaves.
- Now add onion saute it for min. Now add tomato and bell pepper.
- Mix it well. Cook 2-3 min. Now add all spices. Cook for 2-3 min.
- Now add 1/4cup water and jaggery. Cover it and cook 2-3 min. Now off the flame.
- Now cool it down and blend it. Our chutney is ready.
